Happy New Year! Welcome 2014!

A brand new year and a fresh new look to our blog, thanks to Julissa's wonderful design-work and all of the ladies' new little birds. And to kick things off for our January post, we're continuing our bird-theme by celebrating the Owl!

The start of a new year brings many possibilities and as we begin new projects and share our love of illustration with you here with our posts, we wish for all of you much success along your paths of creativity. 

May 2014 be a year of happy surprises and strides in your personal goals, and we wish all of our wonderful visitors & friends here a very happy new year ahead!

December Sneak Peek

Julissa and Cally participated in the Owl Lover 2014 Calendar. The calendar can be downloaded for free from the My Owl Barn website http://www.myowlbarn.com/p/owl-lover-2014-calendar.html and can be printed for yourself and to give as a Christmas or New Year's gift to friends and families to be cherished all year long.

Shirley has a FUN spread for Highlights Hidden Pictures Book that she's currently working on among a few other projects. They will be released this month or next.

Nina has a cute Snowman Doormat/Accent rug that is being sold this holiday season. It was licensed by Mohawk rugs and is sold at Lowe's and other retail stores that carry Mohawk products.

Bee has been working with toy company Tiger Tribe for a couple of years, here are some of her most recent projects with them. You can view all their toys on their website here:

Hello and Happy November!

This month we decided to illustrate some Fall recipes. Since we celebrate Thanksgiving later this month, it seemed like a good time to draw some food! Nina has been working on lots of new collections that are available for licensing, through Pink Light Studio. Here's a sneak peek of two of them, A Pirate Life and Hello Sunshine.
